Amid the warm glow of candlelight, we present Mozart at his brightest. The exotic Overture from Abduction from the Seraglio bristles with boundless energy and good humor, contrasting with the lordly sounds of Mozart's Concerto for Clarinet, his last solely instrumental piece composed only weeks before his death. Marked by flowing melodies and gracious lyricism, this Concerto as well as the grandly inventive "Linz" Symphony represent Mozart's creative powers at their height.
