Audition Information for
The Lima Symphony Orchestra

LSO auditions for the 2010-2011 season are for substitute players only. There are no permanent openings.

Auditions will be held August 28, 2010, at Reed Hall (Student Activities Building) OSU/Lima Campus.

Excerpts will not be mailed to auditionees. They should be available in most standard excerpt books for each instrument.

Prior to the audition date, please send your resume by e-mail or mail to anita@limasymphony.com or Lima Symphony Orchestra, P.O. Box 1651, Lima, OH 45802, attn: Anita Skinner. The audition will consist of a prepared piece of your choice, sight reading, plus the excerpts, and will last approximately 10 minutes. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PARTS.

Please call the Lima Symphony Office at 419-222-5701 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday to set an audition time or if you have any questions or problems concerning the audition material or the audition date.
