Andrew Crust, conductor | Amit Peled, cello -

Join the Lima Symphony Orchestra in their season finale featuring three works composed at the turn of the 20th century. Opening with Mahler’s beautiful and serene “Adagietto” from his Symphony No. 5, this work balances the excitement and emotion of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s “Ballade.” Finishing out this landmark season is Dvorák’s “Concerto for Cello and Orchestra.” This work, at once expansive and fanciful, stands out among all cello concertos for its rich orchestral music, lyrical solo writing, and magnificence.
