MORNINGS WITH THE MAESTRO

The LSO wants every child to have a host of opportunities to experience the joy and wonder of live music!  We are also eager to introduce our conducting candidates to all of the remarkable assets of our community.  Where better to combine these two objectives than the Lima Public Library?  The Lima Public Library is a modern and accessible location where experiential learning is welcomed and encouraged.  We are pleased to introduce a series of vibrant educational programs that are similar to Kidstuff but have been reimagined and repurposed to engage children more actively and introduce our community to our prospective conductors.  Each of our dynamic conducting candidates will create an interactive presentation to reflect, teach and share their love of music with our local children.   Each “Mornings with the Maestro” event will feature a live performance and ensemble composed of musicians from the Lima Symphony Orchestra.  Please join us in welcoming all of our fantastic candidates and give the children in your life unique and vital experiences all season long!
