Lima Symphony Orchestra “Symphony Storytime” Returns for Spring!

Lima, OH (April 3, 2023) The Lima Symphony Orchestra returns next week with a new “Symphony Storytime.” Throughout the season, the Lima Symphony brings Symphony Storytime programs to Allen and all surrounding counties, extending the Symphony’s educational reach and impact. The new program will celebrate the return of Spring!

Tuesday, April 11 | 10:30 AM - Auglaize County Public District Library (203 Perry St, Wapakoneta, OH 45895)


For this innovative program, children and their families will enjoy classic selections in celebration of the return of Spring! This program features outstanding newer book selections including the lyrical Snow Rabbit, Spring Rabbit by Il Sung Na, the beautifully colorful Green on Green by Diane White, Finding Spring by Carin Berger, and the award-winning If You Plant a Seed by Kadir Nelson, all accompanied by live music from Lima Symphony Orchestra musicians. The program will engage kids’ imaginations and get them singing along as we examine basic musical concepts and ideas! With a focus on creative movement and music literacy, "Symphony Storytime" is designed to spark children’s imaginations and foster a lifelong appreciation for music. This program is appropriate for all ages and is FREE and open to the public.
